Nickelback 是加拿大 post-grunge樂團在Hanna Alberta成軍。成員有Chad Kroeger，Mike Kroeger(Chad 同父異母的哥哥)，Ryan Peake 和鼓手 Brandon Kroeger (現任鼓手是Daniel Adair)。該樂團最流行的post-grunge與3 door down 和Daughtry並齊。呈現比90年代初期grunge music更友善動聽的類型。雖然來自位於Hanna, Alberta，在Calgary的東方小鎮，但現在已移居Vancouver。樂團之名來自團員Mike在星巴克工作時，總是說”拿回你的五分錢吧。”"Here's your nickel back".
之前與EMI簽約，2008 七月將與Live Nation簽下三個巡迴和專輯，包含記錄、巡迴、周邊產品和其它權利。

在2002年的蜘蛛人II中，這位大叔嘶啞的嗓音吸引我的注意。2003.9.23發表的第四張The long road專輯表現亮眼，‘someday’便是出自此張專輯，除了這首’someday由Ryan作詞外，其它皆出Chad之手’，在老家加拿大拿下第一名外，全球也賣出超過5,000,000的銷量，歌詞直接奔放，多是借事感懷與反省，非常耐聽的一張。’Someday’的music video拍的是鬼故事啊…(抖。直到第二次我才發現，但還是要給個姆指。
